Vehicle ECU Reprogramming Engineer
- BS in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Software)
- Electrical circuit knowledge
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Applications
Candidate will be responsible for developing and testing ECU reprogramming process & functionality for new Client electronic control units (ECUs). Responsibilities consist of reading wiring schematics to wire ECUs (create bench test environment), implementing reprogramming requirements into a database, testing and verifying diagnostic protocol adheres to the specification(s).The job position will also require the candidate to interact closely with both Client engineers and ECU suppliers.
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Software)
- Electrical circuit knowledge
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Applications
- Experience interpreting wiring schematics
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to read and interpret vehicle CAN logs
- Experience wiring electrical test setups (Vehicle ECUs)
- Experience testing or developing Embedded ECU Systems
- Experience with Reprogramming Embedded ECU Systems
- Experience with vehicle ECU diagnostic and reprogramming protocols
- Experience with diagnostic tools and CAN logging applications such as Vector CANalyzer
