Forming a company for Export / Import

Dear Kamlesh, One of my friend (your customer) has referred to contact you. I would like to get some advise/ suggestions on international trade. I have identified few products in other countries and would like to export them from there and import into the US and sell them to consumers / buyers. In the future I might add more products to export into US from different suppliers. To start with here are my questions. Kindly advise. 1. I need to incorporate a company in the US. In the same way is it better to start my own company in the foreign country (as a new entity or as a foreign branch) or have my supplier company handle the export process? Is there any advantage in having my own company overseas? 2. Do I need to have Customs Brokers at both ends (export and import)? Thanks, SP
